‘Governance’ means all the ways we manage our work. It covers our basic constitution – our ‘Memorandum and Articles of Association’ which is the foundation of any company limited by guarantee (as we are*). Also included are the ways of working and the rules we have established over the years – our financial processes, Code of Conduct, AGM organisation and minutes, and statements about our intentions. Our Directors (entirely volunteers) function much as trustees, meeting regularly to decide on AMP’s direction and to oversee activities. You can find their details on our ‘About Us’ page.

* A company limited by guarantee is the structure used by many non-profit organisations. In recent years we have looked at some of the other possibilities that have emerged, and have decided not to change our current structure at the moment.
