The Alston Moor Partnership is seeking a self-employed part-time admin assistant for 10 hours a quarter (every three months), at a rate of £13.50/hour.
The tasks involved include:
• taking minutes for meetings of the Board of Directors; these are usually every two months and last two hours on a weekday evening
• following-up various administrative tasks, making phone calls, liaising with Directors and others
• e-mailing Directors as requested by the Chair
• such other administrative tasks as may be requested by the Chair
The successful applicant will have their own computer/laptop, be a competent typist, and be willing to work flexibly. Meeting dates and times will be notified a minimum of one month, and usually two months, ahead. The Alston Moor Partnership shop is the meeting place for the Board of Directors and the admin assistant may be asked to be present there at very occasional other times for deliveries etc.
